"Evening Gold" is a 5''x7'' oil painting created on location just outside Cottonwood, Arizona. I found this scene in the late afternoon up Sycamore Canyon Road and fell in love the beautifully warm hillside and intricate shadow shapes. This is a scene I have experienced many times but somehow is different every time I see it.
